Fillible's Folly 2014 - September 26-28, 2014 (Sheridan, OR)
Fillible's Folly is OROC's biggest launch event of the year. Given its close proximity to the Portland area, it always draws hundreds of flyers of all ages!
Since I had just gotten back from BALLS the previous weekend, I was only able to make it to the launch on Saturday. I still had an excellent time! I only flew 1 rocket – my NXRS rocket on a J350W to about 2,700’. Recovery didn’t go quite as planned since my main chute deployed at apogee and was a bit tangled, however both altimeters worked correctly and there was no damage on landing.

The rest of my day consisted of helping run LCO and coordinating contests.
